Of all the places we stayed in Oz, this was the most basic, dirty and not the cheapest. Rooms are large, but badly laid out, there is only 1 toilet and shower per gender on each floor and the aircon, which is a must, sounded like we were at Heathrow under the flight path. Found the single room and bit small and noisy so transfered to a larger room. This was clean and spacious with full cooking facilities if required. Paula and Bill were always friendly and welcoming with good suggestions of places to visit and always asked about my day when I returned. we had a wonderful break at the Barramundi Lodge. Paula and Bill were exception. They found us great tours, even let the kids stay for free. Rooms are old but very clean. Great location. Pool is tops and the customer service brilliant. Highly recommended. more
