We stayed in the self catering suite attached to this B&B as a stopover on our way to Kakadu National Park. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well setup. We were given provisions to cook our own breakfast though we also had the choice of a picnic breakfast or having it cooked for us by our host.... More

Thank you for your review. The Tropical Suite is part of the B&B. We're sorry you found the lack of curtains in the living area disconcerting. The Tropical Suite was designed by an award winning architect to link the outside with the inside giving breeze from any direction, permanent shade over windows of either glass and timber louvres in areas... The lateness of the wet season meant that the lakewalk was somewhat dry, although due to crocs no walking on the wall was allowed. Very humid with clouds hanging and mosquitoes galore! Planned to stop for lunch, but we were it, so moved on!The waterlillies were lovely as too the birdlife.

It's a shame the mosquitoes spoiled your visit. This is a wetland so has the advantages and disadvantages of being such a place. Mosquitoes, usually at the end of the wet season, are a disadvantage. At this time we recommend wearing long sleeved cotton shirts and long trousers at this time of the year and also bring a good insect... More

We stayed here for 7 nights in March in the Tropical Suite Both Heather and Jeremy made us feel so welcome and the breakfasts were lovely. We enjoyed being able to cook dinner for ourselves and the use of the barbie. Heather and Jeremy are so interesting to talk to and gave us a number of tips on where to... More

This is a lovely spot right in the middle of everything so a great place for a base. The accomodation has everything you could ask for including fresh air or air-con. A nice pool for a cool dip. Friendly hosts (Heather and Jeremy) that give you your privacy but are there if you need some advice. Fogg Dam is just... More

Eden B&B is a great place to stay outside of Darwin, where you are right in with nature with all the creature comforts - for me this was air con! Having arrived in Darwin on Boxing day the heat, but particularly the humidity was stifling, so the air con was a must. The fantastic pool was sparkling clean and after... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early October, and didn't want to leave! The location of this lovely organic fruit farm was so special - fruit trees and flowering shrubs surrounded by bush land, and everywhere there was lovely birdsong. Just down the road is Fogg Dam, a truly magical nature reserve where there are so many different birds and... More

This attractively decorated B& B on a working eco-friendly, organic tropical fruit farm came, to our surprise, with a fully equipped kitchen, including microwave and other appliances. As there are no restaurants or markets close by, we had earlier chosen to have suppers prepared for us, a time saver. Suppers were well-prepared, healthful, and tasty. We preferred the vegetarian meals... More

This was the place we felt we could truly unwind and relax.
