I took my husband away for his birthday. We slept at Cullen Bay resort apartments. It is a lovely building with beautiful views. We enjoyed our stay more

Views are not worth the over inflated price for a very average, ' luxury' apartment where the microwave did not work, furnishings very uncomfortable,and suspect air conditioner in bedroom. Better value elsewhere. more

This was rated at 4*. Maybe the view was worth it but nothing else was. The hotel room was very tired. The floor covering had chunks out of the vinyl, the King bed was 2 uncomfortable single beds joined together. The furniture was old and tacky, The housekeeping was practically non existant. Stayed here for 9 nights with my husband and 3 kids. My parents had a hotel room in same complex. Great place to stay. Short, cheap bus ride into centre of Darwin when needed. Good choice of places to eat around cullen Bay to suit all budgets from take away to al a carte, and apartment well equipped for cooking... more

Day spa, gym and a variety of good restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred yards - regulat bus service from the door to the city centre, or an $8 cab fare - walking distance to the casino and Mindl markets - fully airconditioned for year-round comfort - recommended more

This place is close to Mindel Beach and a cluster of very good cafes and restaurant. Would really reccomend the Seafood on Cullen Restaurant - best buffet in town and good service. Would stay here again definitely. Cullen Bay Apartments is not sound proof and people are here stay on holiday so "get over it" ...have another beer. Eventually everyone... more

We arrived in Darwin the weekend of the V8 car races and so accomodation was booked out months in advance ! A beautiful apartment with the bonus of a washer and dryer which was most welcome after hiking for days in Uluru and Kakadu. Easy to walk to Mindl Beach and downtown - or to take a bus. The apartments are serviced once a week so no worries about housekeeping knocking on the door when you want to sleep in. more
