Don't stay there!! They ask for a 30 dollar deposit on arrival, it's crazy! The girls at the reception are very rude, one girl in particular. Visiting Darwin during V8 weekend we booked chillis as a last option, with double rooms for $84 with ensuite is was far cheaper than anything else around. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the booking was all correct. The room was quite basic, especially as our ensuite was a shower in the corner and the toilet still down the... more

Imagine this : You rent 8 sq m for $67 a night, shower included. That is - one one of the 8 square meters, they put in a shower cabinet! Adding to the already VERY humid air, this is a brilliant idea if you want to wake up moist and soaked in the water you showered in a few hours... more
