Felt so relaxed as soon as I had made my bed, liked the fact I was given linen at reception, you know it is def clean! was shown to my room and shown which bed was mind, such a kind girl! spacious room for an 8 share, nice to converse and have a laugh with fellow travellers in the lounge... More

I had the cheapest room available Room 12. The room was the tidiest one i have ever been to in my 2 year travels, the beds seem to be new and was very comfortable, what surprised me is the amount of room available in the room at the Woodduck backpackers, the room i was in they could quite easily put... When you go to brisbane, this is a very good place to stay! Good location, good rooms, clean, friendly staff and lots of things to do. The only not nice thing was that the bbq started at 8 o' clock and everybody was very hungry. But for 2 dollars it was very tasty!

This hostel is full of surprises. first of all when you arrive you are charge 6% more when you canno't pay by cash. then the beds make an horrible noise each time someone move. that mean that when you sleep and someone come in the room everybody is waking up. then the sound of the tv is really loud in... This hostel was very poor... Not clean, no internet. The personal was terrible, not very helpful ! Attention, the reception is close between 12:00 to 2:00 pm and close at 8:00 pm, not very good when you're a backpacker ! The good point is they're close to the bus station and the city.

The hostel is on a perfect location only 10 minutes walk from the train station. The people that work there are all a bit to themselves, not really helpful and if you ask them something they will answer you but that's about it. The bathroom was clean, the kitchen was cleaned every day so it all looked nice and tidy.... More

Pretty basic all round but not unpleasant. A short walk from the Greyhound bus stop and on the pickup route for Australia Zoo. Coles across the road. Kitchen on the small side but we managed. Nice TV but definitely need new sofas! Patterned bedding was a nice touch. Fast internet. Code for the front door made it feel secure. Some... More

We'd booked into the YHA next door and they could only honour our first night- so for the second night, we just jumped here because it was easy and next door. Maybe if we hadn't stayed at the YHA the night before, this place wouldn't have felt so bad, who knows- but it was just awful on all levels. The... More

Stayed here in June for the Socceroos and Wallabies and the location of this place is fantastic as it is only across the railway to Suncorp and just down the road to Roma Street Station. However the room was drafty and incredibly noisy. Granted i knew i was staying at a backpackers but when you have other guests yelling at... More

I stayed here for two weeks while waiting to get an apartment. I discovered bed bug bites already the first week and the receptionist took some bug spray and sprayed my bed and mattress saying that that would be enough. Having had no experience with bed bugs before I believed her. A couple of days later the bed bug bites... More
