Step outside Roma St QR Rail station and you'll see the lobby of the Holiday Inn within a minute (it's actually attached to the upstair shops at the station), so location wise this hotel will win many fans. It's also no more than 10mins from the central belt of shops and tourism in Brisbane. But it's not one of the... more

The room was very spacious and had a big telly and coffee/tea making amenities. The bed was big and really comfy, mattress wasn't lump or anything. View over Roma Park and station. Bathroom was average but very nice with granite floor. It was all very clean and very good to relax. It's not too far to Brisbane city centre, maybe... more

We dropped off our rental car at the airport and took the train to this hotel which was an easy, 20 minute ride. Upon exiting the Roma street station, we saw the entrance to the hotel just a few steps away. We were greeted by the friendly check in staff and were in our room within 5 minutes. The room... more

We stayed here in May 2009 - perfectly fine for an overnight stay near the CBD, which is a 5-10 minute walk away (the hotel is just over the road from Roma Street railway station). Clean and comfortable. more

Rooms were clean and big, bathrooms good (also stocked with good amenities) and the beds were very confortable. They have wirless in the room which was about $10 per hour or... more

We wanted a hotel in Brisbane to see us from an over night flight into Australia on to a week in Byron Bay. Nothing looked much better than anything else until family members said ‘You must stay at the Holiday Inn. It was the best place we had in Oz’. So we booked it. Couldn’t not! Yes, it is in... more

It's a very professional hotel, the best (of course the most expensive) hotel during my trip. It's on a extramly good location: within a same building of Brisbane Transit Center where Train and Coach terminals are. The only thing is that hope you find a good price for your stay :) more

I stayed here overnight and all though the hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly however the noise was dreadful. The train noise did not bother me but the air conditioning and plumbing noises were simply dreadful and as we had an early morning flight and needed a good nights sleep we could have well done without the... more

At the end of January we stay at the Holiday Inn Brisbane for 4 Nights. We chose this hotel as it was right next door to the the Roma Street Transit centre where all of the tours go from. The hotel itself was nothing spectacular but fullfilled all our needs as we just needed a base. Staff were friendly and... more
