I'm really rather confused by the other recent reveiws. I stayed here on the back of the tripadvisor reveiws. First the good stuff. The room was large and had two bedrooms, so was great for me, my husband and 2 daughters. It was clean, other than the bin in the kitchinette. It was full when we arrived and wasn't emptied... More

Stayed at this property on Australia day, and had the best stay. As it was a public holiday I was contacted to advise that someone would be there all day and gave me a number to call to the onsite manager if any queries. The room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the old style elevator and the feel of the... More

Thank you for loving your stay enough to write a review. Though our Reception is not open 24 hours, there is always one of us here to look after all our wonderful guests. Yes - even on public holidays!! And Myrtle the lift is lovely isn't she?? Such a dear old girl, with her own heritage listing, adding a quirky... More

We stayed 2 nights in Brisbane at this hotel and found it a lovely change from the run of the mill hotels we usually stay in. As soon as you enter the door, it had a nice feel to it , though there was work going on at the time and it was in plain sight of all the guests... More

Thank you so much for the review. It was our pleasure to have you here - so lovely to get to know you. Don't think I've ever had the problem of the tall husband mentioned before! though I'm sure it's not the first time it's been a problem for you in terms of bed size. Though all our beds are... More

Warm and cosy and the staff were amazing. We were treated more like old friends rather than guests. The room was spacious and the location is brilliant! close to everything and yet when you are inside the hotel it seems like everyone and everything else is a million miles away. thanks Liz for taking such wonderful care of us. My daughter and I recently had a two night stay at the Inchcolm. We booked a two bedroom family package which included Continental breakfast, lake check out and free parking. On arrival we were upgraded to the three bedroom Penthouse which was lovely. I did see the other two bedroom units and whilst much smaller they were very well appointed.... More

I arrived late at night to find that the Choice website had stuffed up my payment and the front desk didn't have a recording of it. HOWEVER, they apologies for the system and asked that I see reception the next day. They checked me in on just the standard credit card imprint, trusting that I had paid as I said... More

Dear Anasatasia, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Just a little note re the parking.....You are right, we don't have much given we used not to have any at all until the Hotel was renovated in 1999. The parking nearby is $15 per night but only... I would echo other reviewers' takes on The Inchcolm... the rooms are excellent, the staff is friendly, and the general hotel atmosphere is comfortable. The rooms come with a kitchenette and plenty of space, and the bathroom in my particular room (forget the exact name - starts with a 'G' I think) was very clean, well-furnished, and comfortable for a... Dear Nick, Thank for your feedback. We appreciate it and that you stayed with us. There are a couple of "sneaky" ways to get to the Hotel from Central train station that minimise the luggage hauling drama!! The best one is to exit the concourse of the station and come up via escalators through the foyer of the Sofitel and... More

Lovely little quaint hotel. Lots of charm and character. Our room (on the fourth floor) was compact, but cute, modern, clean and very tidy. The hotel has everything you need, of course the location is wonderful being so close to the city, yet it is still very quiet and no hussell and bussell to worry about. In general we have... More

Hi Claudine, Thank you so much for submitting a review. It was so lovely to have you stay here. We certainly are well located - realistically a maximum 10 minute walk to anything around the CBD. Not sure if you had the chance to walk over to Southbank along the River and via the Botanc Gardens? If not this time,... More
