Really liked the sebel. Very comfortable rooms and service was excellent throughout. Few nice little touches like the maid coming twice a day, leaving chocolates in the evening etc The hotel is in the best location possible with easy access to south bank, shops and the casino. I did find room service and other stuff in the hotel very expensive... More

Stayed here for two nights on business. Distinctly average is the most positive way I can describe my stay. The room was small but clean. Rather strangely they provide shampoo, conditioner and body lotion but no shower gel only a bar if soap. Not what you expect these days! Breakfast was ok but I'd go out instead. Would I stay... More

Very comfortable hotel in a very convenient part of the city. Some of the furniture and decor in the room is looking a little 1980's but there are a few nice touches employed to make it more modern. King size bed was very comfortable and the curtains blocked out most if the light. The balcony is a nice touch although... More

My husband and I have stayed at this property a number of times. The location is unbeatable. Stoll to the main Brisbane Mall, QPAC, South Bank, train, bus etc. We always book a corner room which is spacious, light filled and has an interesting outlook. Reasonably priced car parking on the premises is available, The concierge team are excellent. Well... More

Had a great time with my kids when I took them for a weekend trip to Brisbane. The staff were friendly and the doorman even took time to chat with my little ones about the show we were going to see...The hotel is within walking distance to the train and city which suited our travel plans perfectly. The rooftop pool... More

This was my first stay at this hotel but am well travelled. We were upgraded, without asking, to a corner room which is excellent in all aspects. Reception staff very professional as were doorman and other staff. Hotel location is fantastic with easy walk to most areas of interest. The hotel is very well presented, perhaps recently renovated. Did not... More

Stayed here with work recently and found it fine. Restaurant served a good dinner and the hotel was located close to the City. Rooms are functional, nothing special but acceptable. More

Stayed here often due work. Not impressed. Better hotels around for same price. Location is good. The good : nice big lobby, twin sink bathroom, no crowd in restaurant and bar. The bad : thin walls and doors, poor sound insulation (especially noticeable when housekeeping and mini-bar staff visit every room and slam the doors shut every time), poor quality... More

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights, just before Christmas 2011, Hotel lobby was very nice, staff good. Room was good overlooked Roma Street parkland, great central location. Hotel has a small coffee shop with basic breakfast menu - toast, croissants etc, service was so good and fast. More

Room was fine but I had the luck of the draw there and got a large corner room. Bar service was extremely poor, stupid lamps on the bar obscure you from staff so unless they are paying attention they will only serve whoever is directly in front of them. They ran out of rum as well, it was not a... More
