“Needs some care, but getting it”

This hotel is closing in June for a total renovation, which it needs, but our stay was great. We were there for three nights. It was comfortable, but what I loved most is that it is so centrally located. I haven't stayed in the centre of Brisbane before. It was wonderful. Can't wait to stay when the renovations are finished

Stayed for four nights on business. Reception staff (Matt) courteous and helpful. Room excellent. Location perfect, close to everything. Yes, the hotel is old (although about to get a complete makeover), but this does not take away from the experience. Ideal for the business traveller.

“Good location below average everything else.”

Dated rooms that are not cleaned well. Hairs in my towel, dust and something gross on the wall. Pretty characterless too. Comfy beds though and a great location. There are better value options very close by.

“Fine but nothing special”

Great location in the mall, close to the river and shopping. Decor and amenities in the rooms were a bit tired - the TV was small and was very slow to change channels. Overall fine to stay at for business but would not use it for a special occasion.

Stayed for 2 nights on the 14th April 2013. Took the Airtrain from the airport to Brisbane Central station which is only 10-15mins walk to the hotel. This Hotel is in a brilliant positon right in the middle of the Brisbane mall. However it needs an upgrade. the room was tired, the bathroom VERY small and mouldy and the basin crazed from years of wear.
