I booked this as a "secret hotel" and got a really good deal. Was pleasantly surprised that the directions to the car park (which sounded complicated) were easy to follow. Great location and nice people. Breakfast was quite basic and greasy, and only included basic filtered coffee (capucino was extra) - it may have been better for us to eat out. Also, the bathroom was cramped and belied the 1970's heritage of this then gala hotel. The room itself was modernised, just noth the bathroom to the same extent. more

Right in the middle of Queen's street, with Myer's smack across the street and all shops right next door. Location wise, it doesn't get any better. The room wasn't too bad either. more
