The other reviews aptly describe the very poor quality of the older rooms (some floors have been renovated now). These old rooms should not be used in their current state, as they reflect badly on the Accor brand, and paying over $100/night is disgraceful. The only question I have is how can they allow things to get so bad before... more

Do not believe for a minute, what you see on the website! Staying at Terraces on Wickham has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite its location (if you treasure convenience, sleep at the bus stop), everything about it is dreary and absolutely horrible. Asthmatics- be wary: I had to check into the hospital on my third night because the... more

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in July this year. The hotel was reasonably priced for a 3 star and served the purpose well. The foyer and bar/restaurant area are very misleading, as our first impressions were the hotel was going to be quite trendy and modern. This we later found to be the case, however this comes... more

My party of 2 stayed here in August 2005 for 3 nights. We enjoyed the convenience of this Hotel. t was only a 5-10 min walk to the centre of Brisbane shopping and a couple of mins from the Central Railway Station. The staff were friendly. We arrived early & had to leave our luggage in the lobby till our... more

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 young children. We stayed 2 nights here on the way back to the uk, good budget accomodation and friendly staff. Our room was clean, tidy and reasonable presented for the price. The highlight was the buffet breakfast which was excellent value with a wide selection of hot and cold food.... more

I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October 06, and then returned on 2 November after a tour to Fraser Island. It was already booked that I would return but I was pleased to. The rooms were large, clean and very comfirtable with a balcony and great views. Check in/out was smooth although the wait for the... more

What a surprise!!!! My husband and I stayed at this hotel and were presently surprised!!! Hotel is located only a stones throw from Brisbane's shopping mecca, and only a short walk to the infamous Valley nightlife (for those that are that way inclined). This hotel has undergone refurbishment of the hotel lobby, restaurant etc, and the accommodation is currently being... more

Overall accomodation in Australia is pretty expensive. I paid around $100 CDN a night for this hotel. It was the best rate I could get for a fairly decent centrally located hotel. Compared to other hotels that I have stayed in other cities I would rate the value of this hotel at around $60 per night. Although the hotel is... more

For a three star this did not compare to the the same rated Golden Sands we stopped over in Dubai. It was similar to a travelodge and required refurbishment. It was however clean and satisfactory for our three night stay. Towels and bed linen were changed daily, with refreshments replenished. The lounge, bar and dining areas are of a much... more

Stayed 4 nights.Good quality comfotable rooms. Lovely balcony overlooking Roma Park. Close to town centre - but a steep hill to climb on return to hotel! Really pleasant restaurant with alfresco dining if preferred - but unimpressed with dinner menu so consequently ate out most evenings. However, good value breakfast & overall standard was good. more
