this is one of the best hotels i've ever stayed at. it has quality furnishings, fantastic service, good access to the city and we even enjoyed the buffet breakfast while we were there. the rooms were all a good size, the bathroom is very luxurious and they even supplied us with bathrobes and slippers for the night. more

This was a great place to stay (we stayed Sebel), after initial trouble getting food! Really handy location, quiet despite being near railway. Great beds and a fantastic cot for our toddler - he slept like a log! Nice room with ample space, comfortable furnishings. more

Stayed in the Sebel tower and found everything mostly as I expected. However I hate when you get hit with all the "extras". The internet is an extra at $15 for 30 minutes. The car park is an extra. The payment by credit card is an extra at 1.5%. This is particularly galling as I was in a small business... more

The Citigate is actually two hotel on the same location, which share facilities. It’s ideal for short stays as its located centrally in Brisbane and as tourists it proved great for starting our sight seeing. The hotel staff were so helpful, the concierge was wonderful and managed to get us into an amazing restaurant on our first night. I would... more

I stayed here for four days in April 2009 while in Brisbane on business. I travel quite a bit for business and while in Australia the budget is roughly the same wherever I go. The Sebel Citigate has to be one of the worst value hotels I have seen. The hotel feels like it was designed by accident, although that... more

Stayed at this hotel several times during 2007, 2008 and 2009. Most recently April 2009 (twice). I think it's preferable to try and get into the Sebel tower versus the Citigate tower - the Sebel is the western side closer to Roma St rail yards and Citigate overlooks Ann St/King George Sq. On the two occasions I've been in the... more

We stayed at the Citigate for 1 night early Dec for a night out in Brisbane. Upon arrival the concierge took our bags to the reception desk and we handed over our keys to the valet who parked our crummy little festiva in the car park across the road. Already it felt like a holiday! When checking in they asked... more

Spent one night at the Citigate in January 2009. Good room with all the expected facilities, comfy bed. Nice and close to the centre of Brisbane and a short walk to the railway station. Would certainly consider staying here again when visiting Brisbane. more

Stayed in both the citygate and the sebel. The room was much larger in the sebel and hotel corridor and feel of the hotel more luxurious would recommend these rooms for the extra $20 dearer then the citygate. Found the location was great for driving into the city also valet parking for $25 cheap for brisbane area. Located close to... more
