EDWARD LODGE – Room 2 Purpose of stay: Business Length of stay: 4 nights In Brief: clean, quiet and more than adequate for a place to sleep, good location. The host Robyn was very warm and friendly and I appreciated her staying up to greet me, as I had arrived late at night. Would stay here again Set in the... More

You could almost walk by Edward Lodge, thinking it a nice, private home in a trendy, popular suburb. With a lovely oriental style garden it provides a neat, nice, homely atmosphere for a budget tariff. The room has everything you need including cute kitchenette and spotless bathroom. There's aircon, internet, TV, even bath robes. The location is incredible. A stroll... More

Edward Lodge was clean and comfortable - not flash, but reasonably priced, so no worries there. Managers were friendly and the location was great for our visit. We had a few hiccups as follows: - We arrived one night late as our flight was cancelled and as we didn't give 48 hours' notice (we gave notice as soon as possible... More

There was a full house at my mother-in-law's place this Christmas so we were just looking for a place close by drop our suitcases and sleep. Edward Lodge more than fit the bill - it really was like a home away from home. We were in and out so quickly though that we really didn't get the chance to enjoy... More

Visiting my sons in Brisbane & came across Edward Lodge, a great find for easy accommodation for a short stay. New Farm is a lovely area with coffee shops, cafes easy walking distance. Hosts are very welcoming & present very clean accommodation, the best thing was fresh milk for my cup of tea! Will stay again..... More

This accommodation feels like a "home away from home". It is particularly good if you want to stay for more than a few days in Brisbane. Noel and Robyn are helpful and friendly hosts. Location is fantastic. New Farm is beautiful and everything you need for an extended stay is close by. Methyr Village has a coles supermarket and good... More

The service was friendly. The manager, Noel, carried my case up the stairs when I arrived and down again when I checked out. This seems to be a rarity in other places. The deal includes breakfast, but it is self serve and very basic fare. I don't have a problem with this, but it is worth knowing that if you... More

We stayed at the Edward Lodge for three nights. The house is located in a very nice area. It is close to the City Cat stop so we could get to Brisbane CBD very easily. Shops and restaurants are also within 5 minutes walking distance. The house itself is nicely decorated. We had a very spacious room on the ground... More

i recently stayed for 4 nights in Nov 10', the property is in an excellent location for catching the city cat into the CBD and/or by car, for accessing the airport and city/south Brisbane locations. I arrived late at night and my key was waiting for me as expected which was great. the photos of the beautiful room only relate... More

My partner and I have stayed in Edward Lodge many times over the last couple of years. The Lodge's hosts, Robyn and Noel, are always welcoming, friendly, warm and helpful. Charming rooms, superb quiet, clean location that allows you to feel part of a community rather than a 'fly-through', interesting local riverside area, great restaurants, cinema a 5-minute drive away,...
