This place makes me want to visit every voyages hotel. This place was fantastic. Beautiful, simple resort on a island on the great barrier reef. The rest of the island is a national park. My husband and I spent 5 days on Lizard Island in early spring 2008. The holiday was to recharge our batteries and spend a bit of quality time together. Lizard Island was the perfect choice! This is our most loved island in the world. As we have travelled much around - this is the best of all. The staff like its job, you really can feel, that they are interested in people. We booked into Lizard Island for 5 nights with great anticipation. It has the reputation of being one of the best island resorts in the world and a preeminent resort in Australia.
