“FUNKY HOTEL”

this is a very funky hotel disigned to give the guest (myself) serveral options when making a reservation like basics or premium rooms. Go the basics as it includes all the lush fittings with exception to minibar items and amenities.

“Short stop in cairns”

We stayed in a nice modern room which was clean, well presented and had a great view. Yes the building is a little on the old side but this didn't detract from our stay. “Odd little setup”

The room was clean and comfortable, just as advertised. Don't expect the whole building to be the hotel, it seems that fnq have several rooms in the building. Michael met me and was very pleasant, explained everything well. Although its an odd little setup, it did the job quite well.

Don't judge the apartments by the building! The room was very very clean! Newly renovated including brand new aircon. The balcony overlooks the pool of which doesn't appear too appealing but the pool is well looked after and exceptionally clean. “Wouldnt stay again”

Booked this thru Mystery deal on Wot if.com.Very disappointing.We were placed in a room at the back by the laundry which was very noisy.Got very little sleep.No view at all.People coming and going at all hours of the day and night.Witnessed several elderly men with asian partners(i suspect doing business at the hotel) Would not stay here again!!!

My one night stay at the FNQ studio boutique hotel was fantastic. Michael, the owner, is just lovely and offered me great help in finding the best tour operator for snorkelling trips to the Great Barrier Reef. He even made it possible to check in at 6:45am which allowed me to get to the reef very early in the morning.... More
