Not what I was expecting from the Mantra brand. Tired, dated furniture and fittings, bordering on shabby. Gets the 3rd star from me for the location, which is brilliant, right on the doorstep of the foreshore and shopping. Room was clean, secure parking is good, and staff were nice, but slightly overpriced for its condition.

We recently stayed at the Mantra in Cairns and would stay there again. We had an ocean view room with balcony which had amazing views. The room was clean and spacious. We didn't use room service but reception staff were friendly and helpful. Local amenities and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended.
