If you have a car, this is the perfect place to stay. It will save you a heap of money and it really doesn't lack anything. There are plenty of restaraunts nearby and both a pub and a McDonald's in walking distance. My room opened up to a small yard where you can smoke a cigarette or have a beer... more

We had an 8-night Stay in Cairns Reef Apartment in Dec 2008 and were hosted by Jaime and Liz Thompson, who are New Zealanders. Believe me, they will take care of everything for you. Absolutely fabulous property. Very friendly staff, location on main road into town, very quiet, don't hear a thing. Rooms very spacious with everything you could need. Pool area lovely, with bbq available to use if want to. Would definately reccommend to anyone to stay here, excellent value for money, and very clean. more

We stay here every year for two weeks in May/June. It is clean and the owners are very friendly, it is reasonably priced and the pool is cleaned daily. Very close to a small shopping centre and the bus stops outside the main entrance to go to Cairns city centre. Free movies on the TV and comfortable beds. It has... more
