The hotel was well located within walking distance of all. The staff seemed to try and over charge when every possible. For example, we were quoted 12.50 for breakfast and they tried to charge us 17.50, but they back down when we complained. Its true... it doesn't look like the oasis in their website, but still a good hotel in a very central location in Cairns. The rooms are the only thing that lets it down - dated and a little shabby, especially the bathrooms.
