Arrived late on a flight from the Cape. The bed was warm the staff friendly and room service worked well for a hungry traveller. There was a good view and the mini bar well stocked to watch State of Origin.

We really liked the location; it's convenient and near the ferry terminal, restaurants, and shopping. The muggy climate does make it hard to keep things in shape. The makeover could use less wood in damp areas, shutters instead of drapes. Very helpful, friendly staff.

Returned again this year as this hotel has reasonable rates and is comfortable, friendly and welcoming. ocean front 3rd story room had awesome views. Decent size room, comfortable beds. Not the cleanest housekeeping, could use a good scrub in the loo. Breakfast served ocean side with a good selection of western and Asian foods. currency exchange and trip planning service on site came in handy. Over all good, comfortable hotel.

Stayed for 5 nights and upgraded the room to Ocean view. Location wise its perfect as you can get to most things within a 5/10 minute walk. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly but the rooms and public areas of the hotel itself are old and aged.
