Sometimes you get a wonderful surprise and this is what we got from Rainforest Grove Holiday Resort. From the moment that the manager collected us from the airport and checked us into our room we felt spoiled. Room was smelly and very dirty,dust was every where and there was cowb webs all around the place.manager came to clean room still dirty after he left.should have qld health go inspect the place,three stars ( no way ) mybe 1.5.i would not reccomended this place to anyone.been to bali many times and the room where so much cleaner. more
This is a very unfair and inaccurate review. We attended to all of these guest's complaints though in many cases we could not actually see what they were complaining about. Stayed at the Rainforest Grove a few weeks after the cyclone had hit Northern Queensland. This review is quite unfair. Firstly we do not have many mosquitoes and most guest are surprised not seeing any at all. This couple, as I told them, were most probably bitten by sandflies on the beach or foreshore, which you do not feel till some time later and only thought they were being bitten by mosquitoes. I spent 5 nights here in Aug and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The self-contained units have full cooking facilities as well as a washing machine and dryer.
