We arrived at the motel at midnight and shortly after Lynn checked to see if we had everything until the morning, Bruce and Lynn made us very welcome, they had just taken over the motel and the effect was immediately obvious. We have just returned from a week on the Tablelands. The Motel is excellent and so is the price. The new owners are more than helpful. We found the rooms to be clean, comfortable and spacious with a kitchenette and a new fresh feel. It's only a short drive into the heart of Port Douglas. Would recommend it. more

Just wanted to put it out there that this motel is a wee beauty, lovely friendly owners and GORGEOUS POOL, we were on a budget and travelling with kids, the experince we had with Bruce and Lynn was worth putting out there, they made our stay in this lovely wee town a real pleasure. more

This location falls far short of international hotel chain standards. The room we stayed in had a horrible smell which we could not get rid of despite buying Lysol.
