Choose the cheaper room, but when we got there realised that we had been put in the next room up, which was so nice. Larger, no 'jungle' print bedding, more secluded, and right in the forest. Writing this review as I sit in my Thala room Eucalypt Bungalow to be exact. The room is remodeled and very nice, a bit dark but the new King bed is great. Thala Beach Lodge is tucked away in a secluded area of the rainforest. Because of its location, it has many species of tropical birds and butterflies that can be seen flying around.
