We spent 5 days at the Portsea Port Douglas, it was an ideal family resort. The pool is great and the apartments are well appointed. The kitchenette is exactly that, no dishwasher and limited glassware/crockery but a very servicable when combined with use of the BBQ. Checked in for a one night stay in hotel room- first room given smelt of damp - had to move- next room was tiny no balcony.
