We were pleased with our choice and found the Retreat to be an excellent place to chill out. The Retreat is close to the centre of Port Douglas and the Marina. Lovely couple who keep the site, and the rooms, very clean. A very good pool, deep in parts, with BBQ area adjoining. Ideal site for couples rather than families

Port Douglas Retreat is a magnificent place to stay. Location is excellent - 2 blocks from the beach, the marina and the main street. Clean well equipped self catering accomadation, friendly owner / staff . very helpfull. Centrally located. 28 day notice required for cancellation. We had a ground floor room pool side which was very handy. Would use again. Room safe use and wi fi was extra.

This is perfect for couples. A smaller and generally quieter resort that has everything you could need for your stay in Port Douglas.
