The Cathedral tour was great. I thought the actual Cathedral cave itself was bigger?. Wouldn't recommend the tour for elderly people especially if you have knee problems. At the end of the tour you are invited to go through some narrow passage ways and then out onto a suspension bridge. I believe this area to be quite a confined space,... More

Excellent location for peace and quiet, clean comfortable and well equipped cabins. Friendly staff. So quiet, cabin right amongst nature,it is so peaceful even the birds wait til a decent hour to start making noise. We checked out the shared amenities, there are two fire pits and a tv!! We will be back. Also great location for a wedding reception,... More

The camping area here is lovely and peaceful, separate from the other accommodation, with good grass, a camp kitchen with a fridge and a fire-ring with firewood. There are numerous trails through the thick scrub, which are great for kids and where there are numerous large snailshells for them to find. Beware the curfew at the gate. It's a long... More

We stayed for a night and have requested for late check-in at 10pm. Our check-in went very smoothly and was very warmly welcomed! We were told our tickets for the cave tour will be in the breakfast basket in our cabin but they were not. But small case, we got the tickets upon checking-out the next day and did the... More

Wonderful courteous friendly staff. The male guide passionate about his work, very knowledgeable about his work. Gave an extensive overview of history and use of the Caves. The Cathedral was amazing, sound perfect, atmosphere lovely. To top it off saw a rock wallaby. Highly recommended trip. Well worth the money - inexpensive and definitely value for money. A++++++++++

We stopped here overnight on our journey north and it was just fantastic. We got a deluxe cabin and it was really clean and tidy and quite spacious. They had a complimentary welcome basket on the table when we arrived which was a nice surprise. It was so peaceful just to sit on the balcony at night and feel like... More

As we wanted to stop and visit the caves we decided to take advantage of the attached campground instead of driving on to Rockhampton to stay there. We had a small campervan and were told there were no unpowered sites for campervans, only tents - the only time we encountered this restriction in our 3.5 week holiday. We paid the... More

Only able to stay for 1 night, but loved it! Really large chalet with separate bedrooms. I really appreciated the generous welcome pack! Very friendly staff who spent ages finding me somewhere to stay for our onward journey north. The cave tour is a must!

We enjoyed the whole experience a wonderful Devonshire tea watching the local Bushturkeys scratching around. The cave tour is wonderful it has so many different levals, so different to the southwest Western Australian caves I worked in. They even carted out Bat dung many years ago. Also they have a small caravan park attached, very neat & tidy with great... More

We stayed here for one night on our way back up North, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed in a cabin, which was in an amazing location. We saw so much wildlife hop on by while we relaxed on the deck. We did the tour in the afternoon of the caves and thought it was fantastic and so interesting and... More
