Broken tap, broken door handle in the corridor, looks a bit dodgy, but an okay stay, cheap and close to the bars. Good value for money. Would probably stay there again, if going to bars in Surfers Paradise.

Worst hostel so far on my travelling! My friend and I arrived, check in was awful, had to wait 10mins for the Trainee to open the check in page!! Stayed at GCIB 4 nights. Location was the best. 5 mins walk to the beach. 5mins away for food and another 7 mins to Cavill Ave where shopping was awesome. I have been there for 3 weeks, and i realized that it is one of the best backpackers that i ever been!! It's clean!! FREE INTERNET !!! the kitchen is well organized. It's located close to everything. The management it's very friendly, and if you need something they help you. I recommend it to everyone !!

Okay price, but I'd agree with everyone posting here. Space isn't important as the room is basically going to be an overnight stay anyway. Get into the room, the bathroom floor is wet.
