It was OK but had its diappointments. I was disgusted that after having booked an executive room for the bath and wireless internet that they wanted to charge me to use the internet and that the diverter on the shower/bath didn't work properly so washing was dangerous. Water came out both the shower and bath at the same time. Cold... more

When I stayed at this motel it had a slight name change to 'Freedom Adelaide Meridian Hotel'. I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor above the lobby. It was simple, adequate and quite clean. The room was large enough to accommodate an average sized family. The only crockery and cutlery were 3 small mugs, 3 small glasses (one... more

Booked the family room apartment for 3 nights. Supposed to be self contained. No microwave, no oven, no grill, no toaster. Only cooking facilities were 2 electric hotplates. One grotty old frying pan and 2 saucepans like Mum had in the 60's.Only 1 dinner plate and no bread and butter plates. Bathroom/toilet had no window, no exhaust fan, and was... more

We stayed at the hotel for two nights with friends and were so shocked at the standard of the hotel that we were in stitches most of the time. It is so dated, filthy - it looked like something from a dodgy 1970's ozzie soap opera. The view from the hotel window was worth the cost of the room alone,... more

The service was appalling, the reception staff were rude and unhelpful. The rooms were small and barely comfortable, our towels were stained and the bed linen was quite torn. When we first arrived in the room there was rubbish left on the bathroom bench. It was definately not worth the price charged for it. The only thing this place had... more

I booked a 2br apartment for our family and got a rude shock when the door was opened. Our 2Br apartment was 2 adjoining rooms which smelt old and horrible. The furnishings were downright dodgy. Old couch, tiles falling off the shower floor. Tiny kitchen which I couldnt even use because the cupboards were locked!! When I asked why I... more

I stayed in the hotel for work and didnt have a choice, but was very embarassed for those who had come from other states. The hotel is in a great location but has not been updated, is unclean, dingy and very disappointing. Would you believe the telephones in the rooms are the old rotary dial!! Tourists would be very upset... more

Bed linen not changed in 5 nights, (even after request) bed not made properly ,only bedspread pulled up. Floor cleaned once only during stay. Had to request more shampoo/coffee etc. Corridors not clean. Originally put into smoking room which stank, andI mean stank! Restaurant meals excellent, including breakfast and all staff very pleasant. more

I booked the hotel through a "last minute deals organisation" - offering a $195 room for $125 and paid by credit card. I should have read the reviews on "Trip Advisor" before paying!! The "suite" was on the ground floor and should have been described as "dungeon like" with furnishings that would have brought $50-$100 in an "Op-Shop". If you... more
