NOT exactly Royal although the mass decorating (and overwhelming paint fumes) that took place during our stay was some effort to meet the 4.5 star rating it advertised. Rooms are adequate and clean which is something that cannot be said for the pool, which has an encrusted scum ring around its edges, broken vents and the spa has buttons missing.... more

We stayed here one night after a function. It was all we could wish for in a short stay hotel of this class. The rooms were refurbished, clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive and helpful as well as being cheerful. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was excellent in very pleasant surroundings.
