We think the Mud Hut Motel is a very comfortable motel. It is clean, very spacy with perfect WIFI.Very friendly personnel at the desk and in the kitchen. We had a great breakfast. We only stayed 1 night but it was worthwhile. Peggy and Robert, Amsterdam Netherlands

When traveling from Alice Springs to Adelaide stayed the night here. Rooms are clean, air conditioned and comfortable. Great choice if you don't wish to stay underground. Even in 46 degree heat they are very cool.

Recently stopped here for the second time, this time with dog in toe. Had booked ahead (recommend if travelling with dog as there were several others on site) and got a great room with a side area for the dog on the back of the premises. Run by friendly people and always clean and comfortable. They offer a well priced breakfast with barista coffee. The rooms are rammed earth providing excellent insulation providing a stable temperature. I can highly recommend to the weary travellers and it has free WiFi. Always a pleasure.

Coober Pedy is surely a place TO SEE...it is incredible in its absurdity! :) The Mud Hut was a great place to arrive to, clean, spacious and quite. The reception manager was just so nice, he definitely went out of his way to make us feel home: he was funny, welcoming and very knowledgeable. We recommend it for sure!

We have tried a few different places to stay when we pass through Coober Pedy, but we will be coming back to the Mud Hut every time from now on. Friendly service, very clean rooms, great air conditioning (especially when the temps get hight) and most of all, very quiet. We get a great night sleep every time.

Very friendly staff, nice room and very clean! Furniture was bit old fashioned, but functional and every thing you need was there. Got our own wifi router for the room. Don't care about location if you like to stay in coober pedy - every thing is located in the samd street ;-)

If you are not comfortable with Underground accommodation well this is the next best thing, it is made from compacted earth and has that natural look and feel to it, the rooms and service is great along with location, opposite the information centre and walking distance to the supermarket and attractions, nice quiet courtyard and good air conditioning.
