After some strong recommendations, we took a family and whilst somewhat reminiscent of the 1970's, the standard room was functional, tidy, clean, but very small. A bit unorganised, with no record of our booking which was made over the phone, but still represented the best value we had seen between Coober Pedy and Uluru. The pizzas were reasonable, and good... A beautifully renovated park, but we were told as with all other parks in Coober Pedy, there were no taps for sites. Quality water was available in one spot to fill tanks. The toilet dump had no tap and the baby bath was out of order. Showers cost 20c for 2 min but you could have water as long as... More

We stayed here for five nights in the caravan park - staff were friendly on arrival. You only have power on site however water is readily available from the camp kitchen. Some sites had shade cloth but 'first in best dressed' for these. Liked the idea of having all facilities central and sites surrounding same. Showers had plenty of hot... More

Hi, Thankyou for reviewing our park. We have had to open our new ammenities block without the benches in the shower area. We will get these installed by June though, and mop is a good idea. Im happy you enjoyed everything else. All the best The Stuart Range Team More

We stayed here for one night to break the trip from Adelaide to Alice Springs. While the reception staff were very pleasant the room was very disappointing. On entering the room we discovered that you have to make your own bed - the linen was folded up waiting. The towels were the size of postage stamps and quite worn. The... More

Hi, Thankyou for writing a review on our park. You are so right about the standard rooms, and we are doing something about this, we are actually commencing $1 million refurbishment to these rooms in June. This will make these rooms 4*star apartments, a project we are most excited about. Over the last few years have we have had extensive... More

This park is very comfortable with friendly staff, we stayed 4 nights in the smaller "off season" section of the park. The amenities are good, yes you do have to pay 20 cents per 2 minutes shower but if you plan it you can have a good shower for 40 cents. Remember that in Coober Pedy, the water and electricity... Only when we had paid for the night did they explain all the limitations of their park, such as that their showers are coin operated. Whenever we dealt with the office we were met by a surly face and unhelpful attitude. It was almost as if they enjoy making things difficult for their guests. Frankly am surprised they are in... We stayed in a new one bedroom self – contained apartment (#1-7) and can not fault it. The rooms are clean and comfy with all the necessary appliances. They contain kitchen facilities ( inc dishwasher) and a washing machine which was very handy. They have a little pizza bar onsite too - the pizzas are great and made fresh to... More

First class caravan park, from the minute we drove in to the minute we drove out, our stay was pleasurable. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and did not push their own organised tour upon us, they gave us all the info we needed to make our decision. We stayed overnight on the way to Ayers Rock and overnight... More

We stayed in the caravan park with a campertrailer. The owners have been doing a lot of work throughout the park and we have no problems recommending it to other travellers. Majority of sites are drive through and large in size. Whilst they are all gravel, this has to be expected in Coober Pedy. The toilets/showers are clean and well... More

We have stayed here a few time during media drives between Alice Springs and Adelaide, and opted for the new appartmenets (#1-7) and cannot fault this place. Sure it's in the dusty desert of Coober Pedy so expect some dust on the floors, but overall the cleanlisness and comfort of these rooms are just like staying at home. Family freindly,... More
