I have never written a review before but felt the Isslington deserved one!! Excellent service, cosy rooms, Jo the chef was fantastic, defiantly eat one night at the hotel, a very pleasurable small hotel experience. Loved all the current magazines too!!

We stayed here for two nights and opted for the small attic room at the top of the house which was fine for us with very little luggage. The room was beautifully appointed, with a great bathroom and amenities. The conservatory area was fantastic, especially for whiling away afternoons with a selection of magazines, tea and cake. Stayed 5 nights, mostly in a room giving onto the tranquil garden,very quiet, staff most helpful, breakfasts addictive, evening meals (from supper of toasties to confit chicken) delicious. We'd be very happy to come back

Beautiful setting and ambience excellent. Had Garden Room for 2 days, excellent! Service and staff VG. Moved to attic for last night due to inability to extend, very small for two suit cases and stairs not desirable.
