We spent 3 delightful nights in the Gardeners Cottage. The cottage was so cosy & the gardens so beautiful & tranquil that it was hard to tear ourselves away to do some sight seeing. Mathew & Wilmar were perfect hosts & we appreciate the many special touches. Many thanks for the fresh flowers that were brought to the cottage on... More

An excellent accommodation in Hobart. After staying in all sorts of hotels all year round the hotel rooms have merged into one generic hotel room in my memory. I really can’t remember which room in which city I slept in. That can’t happen in Corinda’s cottages, the rooms, the décor, are unique. And while you could feel transported into another... More

We spent 3 nights in The Coach House. It is very pretty, newly painted, quirky accommodation overflowing with antiques and ornaments. Wilmar brought fresh flowers every day and there were good breakfast provisions. However, it wasn’t a comfortable place to stay. Everything looked very fragile so we didn’t want to touch anything in case it broke. The ceilings are low... More

Corinda's cottages are a great base for a few days in Hobart. Self catering but an easy stroll downhill into town through a nice park. Interesting historic feel but all mod cons and a great garden. No Aircon so a bit sticky on balmy summer evenings but it was great to have the good weather. Definitely a good place to... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners had everything we needed all ready for us. We had asked for an extra bed, and it was all made up when we arrived. The bathroom was incredibly nice, with great towels and bath amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped, we even cooked and ate in one night. Now, this all sounds... More

We stayed a magic three nights in the 'Little One', (Two on Two). And although it's really little, it is so well planned and executed that you never feel cramped - despite a vibrant colour scheme that if described would sound quite overwhelming. Have a look at the website for the colours and features; in this space I couldn't begin... More

Tastfully restored with obvious pride and passion. The owners have thought of everything to ensure a relaxing and pampered stay. We stayed in the servants quarters and it was warm, clean and well equipped with modern conveniences, cleverly hidden from sight so as not to take anything away from the integrity of the rerstorations.

We spent 3 nights in the Coach House in November and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners have done a fine job of renovating the buildings and filling them with antiques and bric- a-brac. Great shower in the bathroom but worth noting that the bedroom is on the first floor whilst the bathroom is on the ground floor, not so... More

We spent just two days on our five week tour of Australia at Corinda's Cottages. It was perfect. Our hosts keep an immaculate establishment--a real feat in view of the large array of fascinating antiques sprinkled throughout. Having a small kitchen stocked with what we needed for breakfast was a real plus. We were able to function within our own... More

We spend four days in the Gardeners Cottage, on of the three that annex the main house and we have to say that if charm, character and independence are ones criteria, this is it. Considerable thought went into the restoration of this cottage and this, coupled with the attention to ensure our stay was comfortable was greatly appreciated and the... More
