This is off the beaten track about 8 minutes from downtown Hobart. The cottage is on the top of Mt. Nelson and located in a residential neighborhood at the end of the road. A short walk from the cottage yields great views of the city, many hiking trails and a small restaurant.

I liked the hosts Loic and Georgie. The cottage is connected to their home by a breezeway. From our window, we looked out to their yard and front door. During our stay, the owners used a side door so we had the feeling of privacy. The hosts left a nice selection of breakfast food for us including a large container of yoghurt.

If you stay here, you need to know that the cottage is small at around 200 square feet. Once you bring in luggage and food there is not much space left to walk. The web site photo of the interior shows a much larger room (a wide-angle lens was used). In all fairness, the video tour (which we did not view prior to booking) does show the correct size... more
