I could go on about the poor service at reception, the tawdry down at heel bar, the appalling facilities, the wet, stained, dirty sticky carpet, the laughably small shower and basin cupboard, the dilapidated, broken, appliances, the maze of rooms and corridors the lack of any attention or care by management, but what I want to mention was the smell.... more

This place is awful, if only I had seen the reviews and knew about trip advisor before I got there. Everything stated in other reviews is correct, although didnt experience bed bugs. I totally agree with the previous reviews. Obviously I'm not the only one who is writing a review for the first time, in the hope of saving other travellers from The Hobart Hotel experience.
