We stayed 7 nights in a 1 bedroom balcony apartment on a holiday visit to Melbourne - were located on the 7th floor and our view was over Queens Street, the car park opposite and CBD buildings. This apartment complex was selected as being close to the CBD with parking available through the Aprtments at adjacent carparks and being modern... More

The City Tenpo is a small tall hotel and it is probably very good value for Melbourne if you dont pay $185 which is what we were quoted for an extra night. We had a double room, 5th floor, 8 nights, March. The reception staff and cleaning staff are very good. The hotel is in a good location with the... More

We had a very pleasant stay here and has become my favourite apartment in Melbourne. The staff are very helpful and professional, rooms ultra modern and good business facilities. A very clean hotel although the bed was made poorly, albeight quickly. The kitchen was convenient though a big downfall was the dishwasher was broken which we spent some time figuring... More

We booked this hotel through a mystery deal on Wotif, and were pleasently suprised!! Nice, clean, modern rooms which suited us perfectly for a short 2 night stay! Was only a few blocks away from the Bourke Street mall, and was also conveniently located to use the SkyBus for travel to and from the airport! Would definitely stay at City... More

We had a 1 bedroom apartment with balcony on the top floor. A bit smaller than we expected, but still reasonable. Good security system. Great little IGA just across the road. Didn't use the Room Service menu but it looked reasonably priced. Plenty of wardrobe space but only 6 coathangers, Iron & ironing board, vacuum cleaner. Good bedside lamps, comfortable... More

Our first impression we got upon checked-in was its courteous staff. It was almost hassle free and the staff had actually provided us with a lot of useful tips about Melbourne and recommended us some really good day tours. As this was our first visit to Melbourne, these info and assistance did come in handy. The room and its facilities... More

It didn't look like much from the exterior as we approached it, but we were delighted with the location and comfort of our little studio apartment. It was a marvel of design, with so many amenities packed into a tiny space. We had just arrived in Melbourne after a week on the road and LOVED being able to wash and... More

We had an apartment on the 19th floor which had an amazing view over Queen Vic markets out towards the NW. It was very sunny and warm, with opening windows and door onto a small landing. Great to have fresh air. Everything was good except the washer/dryer combo which I could get to dry the clothes. As we had lots... More

This was my first time to Melbourne and when I go back there's no doubt I'll be staying here. The rooms are mini apartments so you have a taste of home living and the location is great to get around melbourne. Highly recommended.

The upside here the location almost opposite the Vic Markets and a short walk into the CBD and public transport. Rooms are compact and bathrooms tiny. In fact they are more like cubicles. My biggest gripe is that my room was not serviced until after 4pm each day. I stay in hotels perhaps 40 nights a year and I have... More
