The location is good, only ten minutes on the tram to the city or St Kilda. The room was pretty clean, although somehow they managed to miss the long hairs in the sink. Nice place to stay, hotel staff very friendly. The Spa is in need of renovation and the sauna wasnt working. Location was ok but as the tram was interrupted we were only able to take a cab into town, which is a shame.

Great location - the staff were wonderful at the front desk. They were very happy to extend our stay by an hour which was greatly appreciated. Whilst it is not the 'flashiest'of hotels, it is good value for money in a good location. We would stay there again. Highly recommend the pillows!!!

This is a great hotel to stay at if you're going to Melbourne. The staff are genuinely friendly, & nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are to die for - excellent variety, presentation and quality. Trams to Melbourne & St. Kilda are just around the corner, so the location is excellent. Good location, well run, smartly managed, older style hotel. larger than normal rooms which are well equipped. Staff were both friendly and helpful - 5 star hotels please note! Good location for conferences too. Restaurant serves quality meals. Only (small) negative is the tiny and often over crowded car park underneath.

Very good service during our week long stay. Beds were comfortable.Room clean and well serviced on request. The reception staff and concierge were friendly and helpful. Good location as outside of cbd and therefore not noisy (we were on top floor) yet close enough to get to cbd via the short tram ride. Would stay again if opportunity arises.

Nice and tidy, receptionists were friendly and quick check-in/out. Room was clean and comfortable. The laundry service was superb...fast and effective. Breakfast well serviced by gentle and friendly waiters and waitress.
