My husband and I have just returned from a three night stay in a deluxe room at the Lindrum. To call us "picky" would be an understatement, so I was a little concerned about how we would find the Lindrum having read some recent reviews. We arrived late at night - 10pm, and found the reception staff friendly. The restaurant... more

We stayed here 2 nights at the end of a 6 day trip to Melbourne and based our decision on the hotel's overall rating here on TA and also wanting to experience a true Melbourne style hotel. Having read previous comments we booked a Deluxe room. I found the Deluxe Room poorly laid out and not reflective of the photos... more

We stayed in a deluxe room at the end of July. The good - nice and clean, relatively close to most attractions in the city. Air conditioning effective, quiet, large room. Good service from some of the staff e,g restaurant was closed due to private function so they called around to find another restaurant for us. The average - the... more

This is a modern boutique hotel in a good location. The nice feature of boutique hotels are the fact that they are small, quiet with very friendly staff and the Lindrum fits the bill. It is also short walk to Flinders Street station, Federation Square, and southbank which is a centre for activity, restaurants and connections to the rest of... more

We stayed in the Lindrum over New Year in Melbourne. The experience was superb, largely due to the hotel. The room (301- Deluxe Room) had huge arched windows that overlooked Flinders Street, MCG and the Southside. The views were excellent especially for the firework display. The room was spacious and very comfortable allowing us to relax for week we stayed... more

We are a well travelled couple, and, I have to admit, rather particular when it comes to our hotel choices. With that in mind the end result of our recent 3 night weekend stay at Hotel Lindrum was a split decision - between Above Average & Excellent! Booking direct we paid $300 per night for a deluxe room at the... more

The Lindrum is a very good boutique hotel in the center of Melbourne. The hotel staff was nice and accommodating. We booked a 3-night stay in a Deluxe Room, which included breakfast each morning. The breakfast included was quite good and a value. The lobby was small with an urban chic décor and a pool table & bar area with... more

Another trip to Melbourne, another hotel, and this one is very pleasant indeed. Having read the reviews on this site previously, we did as recommended and booked one of the rooms facing the front of the building, and were very pleased we did. Although we never pick hotel rooms for the view, having a room which has plenty of natural... more

Hotel Lindrum is a small "boutique" hotel, very well located for both the city of Melbourne and the famous sporting venues that this city has to offer. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern and well decorated and bathrooms well appointed with good toiletries. My only issue is that unless you have a room facing the front of... more

I stayed at the Hotel Lindrum for 4 nights while in Melbourne for a conference, and it was a fantastic experience. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (and quite good-looking, too), and the room was stylishly decorated and spacious, with a great view towards the botanic gardens (I stayed in a deluxe room). The location is convenient to... more
