My husband and I stayed here when touring Australia in 2000. The location is great, just a short walk from great coffee bars and places to eat. Also a short downhill walk to the centre of Melbourne and the river. The suite was fairly small, but more than adequate and loved the spa bath. We are looking to stay there... more

The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Melbourne and i'd be lying if i said it was anything less than faultless. Great rooms, great staff, great food, great views....you get the idea... If i was being really picky i'd say the internet is fairly pricey but hey, theres a starbucks over the road! ; ) Would recommend absolutely... more

Booked this to stay while my daughter and I went to the cricket and explored Melbourne. Staff were great - nothing was too much trouble and they gave us lots of helpful tips. Has all the furnishings of a 5 star hotel but the service didn't live up to the rating. They offer complimentary shoe shine and I had to speak to 3 different people to get it done. The gym is OK and the pool is quite nice. Rooms are quite nice with a mini-kitchen and a separated bedroom / lounge room. more
