I stayed here for a two day meeting and found that it was well priced, conveniently located and the included breakfast was fine - though I think if I had the option I would have liked to venture out to sample the many and varied delights of Melbourne. The meeting facilities were basic but fine.

The good: room size bed comfortable service (very helpful) housekeeping tram out front Victoria Markets next door Supermarket, chemist, coffee shops and swimming pool all handy The Bad TV size and receptions :( noise (even at the back the air con roar was ever present) size of the fridge (a bit small)

The decor is quite quirky at the Jasper. The staff make you feel very welcome and are knowledgable about the local area. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and markets are almost next door. The only downside was that my front of hotel room was noisy and there weren't any tissues in the room.

It was my first trip to Melbourne for conference and it was at this hotel. Rooms not spacious and the room service not bad. Furniture could be newer, a small TV. The hotel location is great as its a walking distance from shopping center and the market. I would recommend for a short stay.
