The Jasper is a bit far from the hub of Melbourne but close to the markets. The styling is funky and looks like they are going in the right direction while the rooms still need a good revamp especially for the price you are paying. I have now stayed twice at the Jasper both times in the Executive Room for several nights. The rooms are very modern and the Executive Room is very spacious with a decent sized desk. Jasper hotel have spent quite a bit of money on their website and brochures to make this 'boutique' hotel look very modern.
