I stayed here in late 2006 (summer) for a few nights. The entrance to the motel leaves much to be desired. Arguably the best thing about the motel is the parking. Like an American motel (hence the name), the free parking is literally right at your door, and hidden from sight, well away from the main road. The location away from the main road also means the rooms are quiet, which I find important as I'm a light sleeper. However, there is a bright flourescent light outside, directly above the entrance to the room. This light shines in around the edges of the curtains, so you never get a completely dark room, even in the middle of the night! There is no way of turning it off either. This made it difficult to get to sleep. In the morning, there is simply too much sunlight entering, as well, as there is another smaller window opposite the entrance.
