We stayed here on a whim and after the trip down the dusty dirt road through the cattle gates we were pleasantly surprised by the shady sites and proximity to the beach. The facilities are basic with some having no roof at all on the shower or toilets but to be honest it was a pleasant novelty. The showers near... More

On the road we were looking for a free rest area for the night but the heat pushed us to go on the beach. I decided to open my Lonely Planet and looked if it advise me a place to go. Just a little sentence to say that going to the farm camp Barn hill station, it's a good place... More

Have to say, we have travelled around Australia for over 10 months, and the camp managers here are the rudest and most arrogant we have come across. I would never recommend this place- 1. extremely rude camp managers, 2 Cannot drive on the beach which is important as there is absolutely no shade there, 3. they make you check out... More

Traveling the dusty red track passing through three station gates you arrive at one of the most stunning locations along the coast. Forget the powered sites and opt for the non powered to the right along the edge of the pindan cliff tops and you will fall in love with this place. Sit back and watch the whales as they... More

Barnhill is nicely located on the coastline, but remote enough to have that relaxing peaceful stay. The sites can be quite compact, but still feel secluded being surrounded by coastal trees in the powered section. If you have your own power, I would recommend the unpowered sites where generators are permitted, as the powered sites are limited to 4 amps... More

Whilst Barn Hill Station Stay will not suit everybody, we just loved it. It is quite isolated, so you will need to be prepared & stocked up on food & drinks, or you will find it expensive. It is very laid back, peaceful & relaxing. You will be limited to the luxuries of life i.e. most electric appliances, but no... More

This place is truely amazing. Although we were there at the start of the season and the facilities were not quite all up to scatch it was an absolute privilege to be there! The owners certainly need a big thank you because they are sharing with us travellers their peice of paradise. The amenities are very basic but very adequate.... More

We arrived at Barnhill Station for a 4-6 week stay with no expectations except good fishing but what we found was a back to nature station stay (no not a 5 star caravan Park) but a relaxing tree filled place to stay, really lovely beaches with lots of photo opportunities, friendly people, shady sites altho limited power but capable of...
