We have just come back to Perth W.A. from four nights at the Mangrove hotel travelling with my 4 year old son, cousin, & Mum & Dad. We were all very sad to leave such a beautiful place & have agreed we will be returning in 2010. The rooms, pools, restaurant, bar, reception - everything - was just great &... more

We booked for this holiday over 6 months ago and have been looking forward to this trip ever since. My partner and I booked an Executive room for $225 per night which was located upstairs with an amazing view over one of the pools and the ocean. The room was nice, the service was fantastic and there was definatly a... more

Fantastic location, the views over the bay are perfect, close to broome town, 5 minute walk and bus service stops at the front of the hotel on the hour, if you whant information on broome just speak to this bus team, it is a family run buisness and they give excellant service. I stayed at the executive room for 3... more

We ignored the messages on Trip Advisor because I'd been to Broome and knew what a fantastic outlook the bar of the Mangrove has over Roebuck Bay. The other reviews warned of poor staff and dirty, old rooms and that was our experience. Front desk was not at all welcoming from the very first moment we booked, though we should... more

I can see that this hotel must have been lovely in its day, so will not be excommunicating the friends who recommended it for our first trip to Broome. However, it is now in an appallingly shabby state, and the resulting gloom seems to affect the mood of the staff who would otherwise possibly be quite nice people. We expected... more

When I opened the door to my room, someone else was in there getting changed. They had double booked the room. So I went to get lunch while they were sorting out what to do with me. I waited close to an hour for a sandwich because the bar computer didn't send it through to the kitchen. If it wasn't... more

We stayed here for one night in June. The rooms were large and had everything that we needed. The staff we dealt with were pleasant. more

This resort was once somebody's grand ambition but these days is horribly neglected. To start with the facilities: one of the pools was green and full of garden furniture. The other wasn't clean either. You couldn't have cocktail on the deck overlooking Roebuck Bay because the boards had rotten through in places, necessitating the use of black-and-yellow 'danger' tape. The... more

Loved this hotel. Great location and great views from the Garden bar! Have a cocktail in the afternoon while watching the colours change on the water and the mangroves. The rooms are modern and cleaned every day. Will stay here again next time we're in Broome. more

Hannah from the UK was great. The staff were very helpful and polite. The room wasnt 5 star, but we were out more than in. The executive suite had wonderful views, was cleaned everyday. The pools were warm and inviting. Don't hesitate, go and have a great time. more
