I travel a lot for business all over the world and I'm generally not too fuss with hotels as long as its not really under par. Must be easily one of the least desirable Hyatt's i have ever been in. Room decor is very old school. Fittings and bed in the room is comparable to 3 star motels. Internet is... more

This is going to be a brief one. I stayed one night in a standard king size room. I have been here about 4 times since 2002. First let me cover the positives..When I come to Perth I often do lunch in the Asian restaurant down stairs and it is always fast and flavoursome. This same “service” and “great food”... more

Just had a night at the Hyatt, Perth and had a lovely weekend. Attendendant for our car was prompt and very friendly. Had to wait 5 minutes to book in but this happens everywhere. Our room was not ready at 2.00 p.m check-in but obviously lots of people checking out late from the night before. Went and sat by the... more

This busy hotel is like a railway station but once you leave the lobby and go to the rooms it is very pleasant. The standard room has a shower over the bath (my worst) but the deluxe rooms, where I stayed previously, has a seperate shower cubicle. The room is huge but TV's are old. Huge king bed but not... more

The first impressions were fine but we were very disappointed with The rooms, very tired and grubby ! the first room had stained carpets and armchairs with holes in!. We requested another room and was shown one that was just as bad! Not what I expect from a five star hotel!! We had to upgrade at our own expense to... more

This is a very nice looking hotel on the outskirts of Perth , It has wonderfull views of the Swan river if you are on high floors ( above level 3 ) and of course looking the right way. Great Gym & pool area. Expensive breakfast . The room was large but in need of an upgrade , It would... more

From the outsde this hotel looks like a hospital. Inside it is more elegant and the rooms are very large, if a little spartanly furnished. Ask for a room with a separate shower to avoid the crappy shower curtains. This is my first stay here for a few years, and the decor has not changed since I first started coming... more

My Husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a weekend in Perth for our 8th Wedding anniversay and splashed out on VIP tickets to the current Cirque de Soliel show. Because of where it was located on the esplanade the Hyatt was the closest hotel, so we decided to spluge and stay there. Overall the hotel was fine. We... more

We stayed at the Hyatt Perth recently on our way to the Margaret River. We had stayed at Hyatt in Canberra the two nights prior so had some direct comparisons - there was no comparison... For two hotels with the same brand they were very different - loved Canberra Hyatt and Perth Hyatt really let us down. When we arrived... more

Went to Perth on the last trip of a 3 week holiday to Aus. Arrived early afternoon to a charming Bell Boy who took the cases while I parked the car, which they didn't mention when booking the hotel that there was a $20 per day parking fee! My wife was checking in and everything was completed by the time... more
