I recently spent 3 nights here whilst in the city for a conference. I booked before I got around to checking out trip advisor- a big mistake as after reading the reviews I instantly regretted booking and paying for the hotel. It was not cheap at $400 for 2 nights (with a continental breakfast), but my preferred hotel of the... more

If your room is infront with the view of the Wheel of Perth, you have the best view of hotels in Perth. Since the hotel is just along Esplanade it provides best view of the Swan River. Positive: 1) Best view of Esplanade and Swan River 2) Good Price for the location Negative: 1) No free internet 2) hard bed... more

We had just flown from Bali to Perth, and had to get a cheap hotel overnight before a 6am flight to Melbourne the following day. We checked in at 8pm, everything seemed ok, the room had good swan river views, had all the basic essentials you would expect when only paying A$80 for one night. After having dinner at the... more

Absolutely terrible place to stay. Many things wrong with the room. 1. Horrible parking facilities. 2. opened a cupboard drawer and the whole front of the drawer swung off. 3. Shower rail not nailed down, just wedged between the walls and easily pulled down. 4. Phone didn't work. 5. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. 6. Cooling/Heating not functional.... more

May i say that i saw reviews on this hotel saying it was undergoing refurbishments at the time i was going to stay. Yes there was and they were all on a floor that no-one was staying as they weren't selling those rooms.. My wife and i stayed here for 2 nights in their so-called budget rooms :o) ie: lower... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night whilst having our house painted. It was a disaster from start to finish. The rooms are filthy and old. The tv was so old with not even a remote. The bed was uncomfortable and linen was not clean. The staff at reception were rude and the bathroom in particular was mouldy and... more

The hotel is in a great location for business travellers but the rooms are very old with facilities that bearly work. I stayed three nights and I was definitely glad to get home. The breakfast was very average and we only ate there once and found much better places on St Georges Terrace for a similar price. The TVs don't... more

I've never written a review before and have stayed at hotels world wide, but this hotel was terrible and I ended up checking out early even though I had paid for 2 nights. I booked the room specifically to stay in the city over the weekend of the red bull air race but was not advised that my room had... more

The only positive thing I can write about this hotel is its location. That's it! It's not value for money considering it's not very cheap to stay (about $155/night). It claims that it is a 3 star hotel. It would be very lucky to get a 2 stars for our experience. We went out for a tour in Perth during... more

This is a quirky place. The deluxe rooms are on the higher floors and have great views of the river. These are big rooms which are well equipped. I really liked it but.. It is privately owned, so service is a bit quirky. Generally good, but when we left a do not disturb sign up they phoned to ask when... more
