We stayed in the Burswood for three nights following a flight from Dubai. First impressions were good; the atrium lobby area is vast and quite impressive with 'sails' suspended across the ceiling (at night these are lit by everchanging coloured lights). Check in was quick and easy and we were soon in our floor 9 Club Room. The room was... more

We stayed for two days in April due to it's proximity to the Casino (Same complex). It is however some distance away from the city and the beaches so if you need a base for an extended stay, maybe something in the city would be better. We had no problems with our stay, valet parking was effortless, the concierge's were... more

We stayed at the Burswood for Valentines Day. We utilised the valet parking and the car was unpacked and our cases delivered to the room quickly and efficiently. Check in was quick and easy. The room was lovely although some evidence of age, but very clean and cool air-con. A minor problem when we emptied the bath and the floor... more

We booked two hours prior to check in. We paid $385 mid week for level 9 for one night - we were not told until we arrived that there were renovations taking place until 9pm on the floor below us - think saws grinding through cement and then being woken at 7am by hammers. The room was very dated, the... more

This hotel is great. A club spa room on the 8th floor provided great views over the river and city. Being young, it is a great place to spend a weekend. With a theatre, stadium, bars, club, casino and a range of restaraunts we barely needed to leave the complex. The room was clean, the view was great and there... more

My partner and i did not stay at the InterContinental Burswood Resort but we did however booked a 80min massage with a further 25min reflexology (for our poor sore feets) at the Escape Day Spa. The spa is connected with the whole casino complex and is part of the Burswood hotel. I had heard about this spa previously from a... more

This is NOT a 5 star hotel. Its considerably closer to 4. The entire place is old and tired and needs serious renovations and a make over. Rooms are very ordinary. The restaurant choices are sadly lacking. bathroom bad. No way will we stay here agin. Whats more,I am an Intercontinental Ambassador member which should have given me an upgrade.... more

I stayed at Burswood twice over the past few months because we were seeing a show and attending a function, it's better to stay than drive home after. The hotel itself is looking very tired these days, torn furniture in the lobby, worn carpet in many places and the rooms just seemed old, old furnishings, old fixtures and very old... more

OK some small iritating things, but being an experienced business traveller I would expect more for 385$.. Firstly when I arrived checkin was good, but when i came to the room I was dissapointed. Tired furniture and no cosy atmosphere. BUT the WORST was that i found PUBIC HAIR on the toilet seat. After that i experienced that - room... more

Wow! What an amazing room. We were staying in one of the hotels Club Spa rooms on the 9th Floor. This was the best hotel room we stayed in during our 3 week visit to Australia. The room was large, and the bathroom was out of this world. There was a large spa bath, double sinks and a large shower... more
