I just came back from a week (05May-14May 2009) at the infamous Old Swan Barracks in Perth. I'm still scratching my head, trying to figure out where the management is coming from. The free breakfast of cereal, toast, and coffee does not come with milk. We had to go buy that. We were told people were stealing the milk when... more

I stayed in an executive double room for 2 nights. (not dorm) It comes with linen, fridge, TV and fan ( no A/C, towel) I enjoyed staying there. This building used to be barrack, as you can imagine. They said "includes continental breakfast" They should have said supplied weet-bix and bread. You must return your bed sheets and key by a certain time or you don't get your bond my back.
