David and Sue run an amazing homestay in the Bay of Islands. They will take care of all your needs including giving you their garage to park your car. If you don't have a car they will pick you up from the center of town, which is only a 5 minute drive. For such a reasonable price, you get the entire downstairs facility to yourself including your own private bedroom, living room, microwave, fridge, sink, and bathroom. It really is like a stand-alone apartment with the care and love of a bed and breakfast. Breakfast is a continental style with fresh fruit, cereal, toast, and muffins. The view from your room as well as the deck where the room leads out of is breathtaking. There is even a 4 person hot tub and a grill that you are allowed to use.
