Stayed here for several days for a sports event in Albany.........its not 5 star but was very clean,well serviced and quiet. Had good kitchen facilities, sky tv, comfortable beds, laundary etc....
Its a 10min walk (or $7 taxi) into Takapuna where there is plenty of great shops, restaurants, bars etc........... Theres' a KFC & a handy bakery about 100m down the road. The outdoor spa was good on a cold night & the heated pool was o.k.
Didnt have breakfast there but saw some being delivered & it looked good. Daily paper at the door was a bonus. There was quite a few of us staying there & there was a bit of stuffing around on our part with our spontaneous requests, payments etc. This didnt seem to phase the owners at all & i thought overall they seemed to be extremely well organised.....eg they had local restaurant menus & plenty of activity info in their office........so well done to them........... more
