We stayed for 2 days in this hotel. The staffs were ok (not as friendly as Mercure HOTEL), but the quality of the room, mattress, bathroom (everything was excellent). The buffet breakfast was quiet good. It's about 15minutes walk to the centre of the city. This is the best hotel during our stay in North Island. more

We landed in Auckland and spent a night at this hotel before heading on our journey into the northland. The Rendezvous (formerly the Carlton) is well located near the Aotea Centre, and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with particularly large bathrooms. I found this hotel to be fantastic; the room was lovely and spacious. We were on the 12th floor, and the room had a huge window with a lovely big wide window ledge to sit on. Pretty basic really, but gorgeous. more
