I think what I liked best about this hotel is that for a "casino" hotel, there's no need to have any contact with the casino itself. It's in an entirely seperate building across the road. A solid choice for downtown Auckland if you're looking for a "full-service" hotel. A nice hotel with good location in the middle of Auckland CBD. The wievs from the 16th floor weren`t great, but the room was pretty big and modern. Expencive internett. Not even wireless. Stayed for 4 nights in a city view room in October 2009. Stays were broken with a night away in Hamilton. Much like many of the other reviews already posted, you'l find this hotel is really lovely but lacks some of the details and luxuries of a true 5 star hotel.
