We stayed with Chris the night after our wedding and couldnt have asked for a better experience. Falling into the Stafford Villa at about 4 in the morning, the sight of the Oriental Room, in which we were staying took our breath away. The property and the suite were amazing. We were treated and felt like royalty during our stay. The hosts went out of their way to look after us. Would recommend it to anyone, we'll be back again, even if just for the breakfast! more

Having stayed at a number of 5 star resorts, both in NZ and abroad, our experience at Stafford did not meet our expectations of 5 star suite. For example; no off-street parking for guests, a very small TV (14"?) and no Sky reception, no in-room table, spa bath did not work. Breakfast was excellent but hamper meal was only average.... more
